After conquering TV and film, the “Attack on Titan” manga series is set to trample the stage in summer this year.

Details of “Live Impact: Attack on Titan” remain a mystery, but it will be a fully immersive, fast-moving experience for the audience, an insider said.

“Attack on Titan” is an action-packed dark fantasy by Hajime Isayama that runs in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine comic anthology. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the story is about humanity’s desperate battle against human-devouring giants.

The manga has sold more than 60 million copies and spawned TV anime and live-action film adaptations.

Questions fan might be asking about the stage adaptation are how it can bring giants on stage and how the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, which helps members of the Survey Corps fight the monsters, is handled.

The stage production is also raising expectations from fans about who will play which characters in the ensemble cast story.

The venue, performance schedule and other information will be announced shortly. Visit the official website at (https://shingeki-stage.com/).
