The second season of “Hozuki’s Coolheadedness” will resume airing on TV in April, it was announced during the last 13th episode of the animated series, which aired Dec. 30.

The anime is based on a dark comedy manga of the same name by Natsumi Eguchi currently running in Kodansha Ltd.’s weekly Morning comic anthology. The story centers around Hozuki, who serves as the first aide to Enma, the King and Justice of Hell.

The first season of the animated TV series began airing in January 2014, before spawning an original straight-to-video series.

The second season premiered in October 2017, introducing new characters.
