Custom design car specialist Mitsuoka Motor Co. is teaming with “Devilman Crybaby” to offer a special one-off vehicle modeled after a car driven by Ryo Asuka in the anime series.

The devilishly stylish Devilman Orochi, based on Mitsuoka’s high-end sports car Orochi, will be unveiled in the autumn.

The car is jointly designed by Takahisa Atsuji, who handled art direction for the anime, and Takanori Aoki, designer of the original Orochi.

“Devilman Crybaby” is directed by Masaaki Yuasa based on a classic manga by Go Nagai. The story centers around Akira Fudo, who harnesses the power of a demon to become the Devilman and save humans from hostile demons, along with Ryo Asuka, who throws in his lot with Akira.

The series is currently streaming worldwide on Netflix.
