The 2019 edition of Anime Seichi 88 Walker magazine explores 88 locations around the country that feature in anime titles.

The Anime Tourism Association’s official guidebook also details anime works and offers commentaries on recommended routes to visit the sites.

The 88 spots were selected by anime fans from around the world.

The cover illustration exclusively drawn for the magazine features the main characters from “Laid-Back Camp.” Sites related to the anime include the former grounds of the Shimobe elementary and junior high schools, the Koan campsite and Lake Motosuko in Minobu, Yamanashi Prefecture, where Nadeshiko, Rin and her friends enjoy camping.

Enoshima island in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, is one of the locales for “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.” A slope near Gakushuin-shita Station in Tokyo’s Toshima Ward, the Chibikko Koen park in Wako, Saitama Prefecture, and other spots inspired locations in “How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend.”

Other anime titles featured in the magazine include “A Place Further Than the Universe,” the “My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected” series, “Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale,” “The Idolm@ster,” “A Certain Magical Index,” “Waiting in the Summer” and “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.”

The publication retails for 920 yen ($8.30), excluding tax.
