The U.S. Marine Corps unloaded 12 new Osprey transport aircraft July 30 at Air Station Iwakuni in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The U.S. military plans to deploy the new type of Osprey in early August to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma in the city of Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture, after conducting test flights and maintenance at the base in Iwakuni.
