KONAN, Shiga Prefecture--A steam locomotive that was decommissioned in the 1970s is up for grabs to anyone who can afford to cart it away.
The municipal government here plans to give the train to anyone who can afford the transportation and other costs. Applications are being accepted until June 20.(IHT/Asahi: June 7,2008)
