Europe presses Asia to open economies, boost demand

VIENTIANE, Laos -- Europe pressed Asian countries on Nov. 6 to open their economies further and urged China to ramp up domestic demand as it seeks to tap into the faster-growing region and ease the effects of its long-running economic crisis.
