Sixty-eight years after the end of World War II, the debate continues on whether the Japanese Constitution was imposed on Japan. Beate Sirota Gordon, who took part in drafting it, always said the Japanese Constitution is better than the U.S. Constitution and wished that it would take root in our everyday lives.
