Editor's note: Hajimu Takeda, a staff writer in the international news department of The Asahi Shimbun, recently visited South Korea where he exchanged tweets and met with South Korean and Japanese to gain their perspectives on bilateral relations in the wake of the diplomatic spat over the Takeshima islets.
