More than 10 years ago, several hundred children held a demonstration in London to protest corporal punishment. They handed a letter to the prime minister saying there is no such thing as a "whip of love." I hear that in Britain even after corporal punishment in school was banned by law, many people are still calling for the "revival of the whip."
