Thoughts from a Country Hit by Nuclear Bombs - 2013(No.2)


This summer, it will be 68 years since the Unites States dropped the atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. While U.S. President Obama once pledged to seek "a world without nuclear weapons" and has now begun his second term, Japanese society has been confronted with the problem of how it should deal with nuclear issues after the nuclear power plant disaster occurred in Fukushima. We asked people active in various fields to share their thoughts on the abolition of nuclear weapons.
