Hawaiian hula is one of the popular courses at the Asahi Culture Center Tokyo.

Slightly fewer than 200 companies (as at October 2007) at home and abroad, excluding TV related businesses, are affiliated with and support The Asahi Shimbun. They provide information and such newspaper-related services as advertisements (including newspaper inserts), sales (including spot sales), printing and distribution. Our network also includes publishing, culture schools, travel agencies, real estate operations and building maintenance, and insurance companies. Furthermore, the company supports about 20 public good organizations which are involved in a variety of activities in fields - such as culture, the arts, social welfare, education and the environment - which make a contribution to society.
