Sparknews, a Paris-based online news outlet, will host an online discussion on June 18 marking the start of an international and collaborative initiative to highlight the challenges and solutions to achieving gender equality.
The Asahi Shimbun is participating in the "Towards Equality" campaign, which will unite 15 news outlets around the globe.
The discussion will be held from 10 p.m. until midnight (Japan time), and 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. (CEST).
The session will involve prominent journalists and international key opinion leaders discussing paving the way toward gender equality.
