The Asahi World Forum is an ambitious new attempt to address some of the most pressing global
issues including climate change, poverty, inequalities, responsible consumption and production, gender
equality, and quality education.
The Forum is an endeavor developed from the “Asahi World Environmental Forum”, which was held from 2008
to 2015, to discuss climate change and related environmental issues. The new Forum will build on the wisdom
that has been accumulated by its predecessor during the eight years and expand the scope of issues to deal
with in a solution-oriented manner.
We look forward to welcoming you at the inaugural event in Tokyo this October.
