Despite its image as a sprawling asphalt-covered, leading-edge metropolis, Tokyo is also blessed with clear groundwater and underflows. Today as well, sake that is dear to the hearts of modern people and imbued with creativity and ingenuity is being made at nine sake breweries in the metropolis. We invite you to come and see the actual sites where delicious water and rice are transformed by the skills of chief brewers into sake that has been loved since the days of old Edo.
Visit a brewery in Tokyo and make a post about it on SNS. If you show a photo you posted with the hashtag “#tokyosakeproject” or “#tokyotokyo” to the staff at the brewery, you will be given a gift bottle of Ponshu-Gria, the base for making a sake cocktail, right on the spot. Pour Tokyo-born sake on top of it in a glass, and enjoy a stylish cocktail. Ask the store personnel for more details.
